Cookie Policy

How RotaPulse uses cookies and browser storage.

First-pass draft. A starting template, not legal advice — review it (and keep it accurate) as you add any third-party services.

What cookies we use

RotaPulse currently uses only strictly necessary (essential) cookies and browser storage. The main one is a secure, httpOnly authentication cookie (rp_session) that keeps you signed in. We also use your browser’s localStorage to remember your session details for the interface and your cookie-consent choice. Essential cookies do not require consent under UK/EU law, but we tell you about them for transparency.

Non-essential cookies

We do not currently set analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we introduce any in future (for example, privacy-friendly analytics to improve the product), we will only enable them after you consent via the cookie banner, and we will update this policy.

Managing your choice

You can choose “Essential only” or “Accept all” in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which will bring the banner back. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the essential authentication cookie will prevent you from signing in.

Third parties

Some pages may load content or make requests to services we use to run RotaPulse (e.g. email delivery, mapping, or our own API). These are used to provide the Service, not to track you across other sites.

Changes & contact

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. For questions, contact privacy@rotapulse.com.
